Former team boss praises Verstappen: "He resembles Senna the most"

According to Franz Tost the title fight between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton is one for the history books. He already expressed his preference for the winner of that battle, but now he adds to it.
Asked by Sport1 which great driver from the past Verstappen can be compared to, Tost did not have to think for long. "That is always difficult, but he is most similar to Ayrton Senna in his willingness to take risks and his absolute will to win," said the former team boss of the Dutchman.
Verstappen has car under control
Tost learned of Verstappen's talent at an early age. He made his debut at the then Toro Rosso at the age of 17, but the two had known each other for longer. "I've known him since his days in karting," says the 65-year-old Austrian. "He has absolute control of the car and never has a problem with speed."
"He feels the car and the tyres extremely well. In addition, his father Jos taught him an incredibly good basis. After that, nothing could surprise him," Tost said of his former driver.
