Last night the news came out that
Sebastian Vettel would be getting a new
Mercedes engine, but it has now been announced that
George Russell will also have to undergo an engine change during the
United States Grand Prix. Both drivers will start from the back of the grid.
Vettel already mentioned during the press conference that he would be getting a new engine and just now the news came out that Russell will have to race a catch-up race as well. Because of this it is clear that there will be two new Mercedes engines on the grid this weekend.
Which parts will be replaced?
It looks like Vettel's internal combustion engine (ICE) will be replaced and at the moment it seems that the
Williams driver has been given a completely new engine.
