International press: 'The Mercedes did not escape the clutches of Verstappen'.

The international press is impressed by the race that Max Verstappen, Sergio Perez and Red Bull Racing drove in the United States Grand Prix. They call the team's aggressive strategy spectacular, while the team of Mercedes hesitated.
'Red Bull was completely on Verstappen's side'
The Spanish Marca has nothing but praise for both Verstappen and Red Bull Racing's aggressive strategy. "Red Bull performed a spectacular undercut on Mercedes and just as spectacularly prevented an undercut by Hamilton. The team was completely on the driver's side and made no mistakes. Verstappen had a difficult but clean start. He then cut the first stint short to make an undercut, after which he won the race and increased his lead. He drove a brilliant end to the race, resisting Hamilton's 'hammertime'."
'An almost perfect Max Verstappen'
"A near-perfect Max Verstappen," writes the Italian sports newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport. "Lewis Hamilton was no less brilliant, but perhaps lost this time because of a hesitation from his pitwall, which has brought him so many victories already. The United States Grand Prix was decided in the pits, and the Dutchman and Red Bull can say they were the best. It's a crucial win, as it gives Verstappen a 12-point lead with five races to go."
'The Mercedes did not escape the clutches of Verstappen'
"Verstappen opted for an aggressive strategy rather than a fight on the track after losing position to Hamilton at the start", writes the Spanish AS. "In this he was supported by his engineers and his teammate, dismantling Mercedes' plan. Hamilton started better than Verstappen, but the Mercedes did not escape Verstappen's clutches."
