As I have mentioned before, being a multiply WDC, you join an exclusive club and are given special privileges which other ‘non members’ drivers do not get.
Hamilton didnlt gain a position, Max..Massi explained very well what happened but you never want to understand..
Horner knew exactly what he was doing with his ‘message to Max’ actually ..stewards. Karma ...
RedBull boss Christian Horner complained about track limits infringements (turn4).
Horners complaint was upheld so ALL drivers told to observe track boundaries or penalties for offenders.
Ironic that the next car to off track was Red Bulls #33Max V S.
Had horner kept his gob shut, quite possibly his team could of won the race.
talk about karma eh.
Horner n Marko never learn, their sniffing ways slways backfires... now he lost...
No other smart team announced on the radio to actually encourage their driver to do it on purpose.... that's the difference... Horner is a good watch dog police always sniffing... the actually call he could've made was to warn n remind Max of not overtaking there, maybe he would be sitting with a win...
"For 30 laps Lewis went wide and gained time there. I tried it for two laps after and then they told me not to, so that's a bit odd"
Absolutely right. Thats the part which is under discussion and its inconsistent and unclear. Other than this ppl confuse with your overtaking and gaining position at same place which was totally a different topic..
Lewis gaining time for 30 laps was not wrong or is not part of question[they were just smart] bec in driver briefing it was clear. But why was it changed after lap 30 when max started to do the same as its still within the rules as discussed in driver briefing
I keep telling Max fans that "driving fast" is just part of what it takes to win an F1 race. Strategy plays a huge part and you can actually win a race without the fastest car. Lewis baited Max and Max took the bait. Lewis won the race while not in the fastest car.
Y do you categorize in generic as max fans. All lewis criticizers are not max fans or if some arguement is kind of aligned wrt max that doesnt mean you are pro max.Its debate and point putting forward. For me whoever is capable of challenging current domination i just try to support as i just need races with wheel to wheel battles with some excitement. I just don't pay to watch F1 for just somebody running away with a dominated car for years or just to see up your favorite driver winning. That doesn't value your money.
And again i want to remind there is no arguing with hardcore cheer girls of a particular "driver" because a hardcore driver fan will always be "blinded" and he cant give neutral opinion. You can justify saying no i am honest etc. etc. but a hardcore driver fan cant give any neutral opinion.
regarding your comment about strategy playing part..nobody is dumb here to "not" understand that only being fast or driving fast, win u races[if you are watching F1 from decades right]..When you have cars which are close everything matters.
Notice I said Max fans! In here there is NOT much objective criticism. I agree with you. I am a huge Lewis fan, but I also said many times MAX is absolutely a Champion in the making. ie. Liking Lewis doesn't mean disliking Max. Having said that, I am addressing the Max fans who said Lewis cheated. They didn't understand Rule 27.3 was still in effect even though drivers were permitted to go wide on turn 4. The rule states you cannot go wide to gain a position which is exactly what Max did. That is NOT a personal comment about Max, it's a fact.
