Alexander Albon is looking forward to racing at the
British Grand Prix. As a British Thai, the Grand Prix will be a ‘home but not home’ race for Albon and it will actually be one of the few times the
Toro Rosso driver has driven at the circuit. The team go into the Grand Prix without any penalties and are looking forward to the opportunity of scoring points.
“Coming to the British GP, without penalties on the plan we will be starting the race from the actual qualifying position and, after having analyzed lots of data from the last two races, we hope we will be able to battle in the tight midfield successfully," Albon said to
MotorsportWeek.
Despite racing all around the world, Ablon doesn't have much experience of
Silverstone but is looking forward to the race.
"I’ve driven there less than probably any other F1 track in Europe! I think it’s one of my ‘home but not home’ tracks," Albon said to
RaceFans.
"We’ll see, in the pure high speed, we’re quite strong. So I’ll be interested to see if we can come back stronger."
Toro Rosso have looked fast this season and after a few Grand Prix's which have been tainted by penalties, they will hope to get a double points finish and make their mark on the midfield.
