Fernando Alonso has seemingly laughed off the rumours linking him with Red Bull's vacant seat alongside Max Verstappen for 2019. The Spaniard posted on social media claiming that the story was "a summer hit" and captioned his post with many laughing emoji's.
On the most recent edition of F1's Beyond the Grid podcast, Christian Horner was asked about the possibility of the two-time world champion joining the team and replacing Daniel Ricciardo for next season.
Horner's response obviously was not what the McLaren would have wanted to hear, calling Alonso "chaotic" no matter what team he is on.
Whether Alonso continues in Formula One beyond this season is still up in the air, with the possibility of him jumping to IndyCar to complete the Triple Crown an ever-looming possibility.
