Ross Brawn believes that
Lewis Hamilton could potentially better
Michael Schumacher's records one day.
Schumacher is regarded as one of the, if not the BEST Formula One driver of all time - with seven world championships being celebrated by the German.
However, Hamilton is the best in the business nowadays - on the verge of claiming his fifth world championship, and at 33-years-old, the sport's managing director believes the Mercedes man is on his way to bettering Schumacher's incredible record.
"I did not think I could ever say, but he (Lewis) could really beat Schumacher's records," Brawn insisted. "He has everything under control and, quality that unites him to Michael and the great ones, he knows how to win races that on paper he should lose.
"The technology at the time of Schumacher was different than the one with which Hamilton works, not as essential as today."
Brawn also spoke about Ferrari and their recent slump in form that has all but gifted Mercedes and Hamilton the two titles.
"They lost an important man, like (Sergio) Marchionne," Brawn said referring to Marchionne, who died in late July. "It is not the kind of loss that has little effect on a team."
