#WeRaceAsOne
''Today F1 has followed this announcement with more details about the news that a new Task Force is being created with the mandate to increase diversity and inclusion in sport. To help with this goal, a foundation will also be created, with an initial funding of $1 million, to help fund internships and traineeships within Formula 1 for under-represented groups''.
The Task Force should ensure that a solution to racism in sport is sought, as well as a way of diversity and inclusion. In this way, Formula 1 hopes to be more accessible to all people with a talent for racing and not just the rich or people from a certain country.
Carey invests in the future
In addition to the Task Force, Formula 1 has also taken immediate action with the creation of a foundation that focuses on jobs and traineeships within Formula 1. In this way, people from all regions can have a chance at a place in Formula 1 and use their potential.
Formula 1 also announces that the foundation will immediately be provided with a budget of 1 million dollars, which will come from the pocket of Formula 1 chairman
Chase Carey. In this way Carey hopes to advance Formula 1 as a whole, but also to contribute to society.
