Claire Williams convinced fuller calendar will cost teams loads of money

With the first ever tripleheader on the horizon, Williams team owner Claire Williams has her questions about the big financial implications of expanding the F1-calendar even more in the future.
Many of her colleagues at other teams, like Bob Fernley and Guenther Steiner, already complained about the massive cost it will have for them to expand the calendar, and Williams underlined that it doesn't make any sense from a financial standpoint.
"I don't understand why it's expected of us to grow with the calendar without getting anything back," Williams complained.
"If we drive more races than the current 21, we should get some form of financial compensation.
"All the circuits pay to be on the calendar, so there's extra revenue there.
"If you want to start the races earlier and go on until later, you're expecting more from the personnel of the teams as well.
"They can spend less time with their families while they're already away from home a lot."
