The
Dutch Grand Prix is seen as a great success around the world, so it is good that the race in
Zandvoort is back on the calendar in 2022. There is even a chance that the event will be held in September again.
The
Dutch Grand Prix returned to
Formula 1 after 36 years and had to wait extra long for that. The race was already on the calendar in 2020 but was cancelled due to the coronavirus. In 2021 the race could still take place but was eventually moved from May to September.
For now, the Dutch GP is still in May on the calendar of 2022 and that would make it the first European race, but
Formula 1 reporter Erik van Haren from De Telegraaf reports that there is a big chance that after the resounding success of this edition the race will still be held in September.
