Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hulkenberg will be driving for Haas in 2024, meaning two more seats are filled for the F1 grid. Due to many long contracts, there isn't expected to be much movement on the grid next season.

Despite a quiet summer break, the F1 grid for 2024 is almost full. Just six seats remain unconfirmed, but Lewis Hamilton is expected to sign at Mercedes, and Lance Stroll is expected to continue at his father's team. That leaves just four places, two of which belong to AlphaTauri.

Sergio Perez has a contract for the 2024 Formula 1 season, and Christian Horner has suggested this will be fulfilled. Still, Perez needs to keep closing the gap to teammate Verstappen in order to give him the best chance of staying in the team.

Most drivers have contracts that expire at the end of the 2024 Formula 1 season, which could bring about a lot of movement for 2025. Carlos Sainz is one of the key drivers in this, and Fred Vasseur has explained they want to sort out this deal before the start of the 2024 season.
