The
Canadian Grand Prix has hardly caused any changes in the constructors' championship. Where
Red Bull Racing is still on top,
Ferrari and Mercedes maintain their second and third place respectively. Nevertheless, there are some striking things to see.
The Austrian racing team was eighty points ahead of Ferrari after the race weekend in Azerbaijan, but this was reduced to 76 points by the retirement of
Sergio Perez in Canada. Ferrari then saw Mercedes come closer again, although the difference is still forty points in favor of the Italians.
Thanks to the tenth place of
Lance Stroll, Aston Martin managed to pass Haas in the championship, so that the Americans can be found on the ninth position.
Williams did the least so far this season, gaining only three points.
*Due to a penalty, Alpine drop to 57 points. Alfa Romeo move to 51.
