Sebastian Vettel has said it is "very possible" that his former team Red Bull "can turn it around" after a dismal start to the 2025 season.
The start of the 2025 Formula 1 season for Red Bull Racing has been one to forget, with Max Verstappen well off the pace compared to the leading McLarens. The Dutchman has also had two teammates in just four Grands Prix after Liam Lawson was demoted back down to sister team Racing Bulls after struggling with the tricky RB21, with Yuki Tsunoda now taking the second seat.
Red Bull's struggles reached new heights last weekend at the Bahrain Grand Prix, with Verstappen only able to take P6 due to brake issues throughout the race, while Tsunoda could only come P9.
The four-time world champion had few positive things to say after the race in the Middle East, stating that he had no desire to talk to his team in the post-race debrief, such was his annoyance at the team.

Vettel keeping confidence in Red Bull

While the alarm bells are ringing at the Austrian team, with more crisis meetings taking place, four-time world champion Vettel thinks it can work out with the team that helped seal all his titles.
"Obviously, Red Bull isn't very strong now, but if you just go back one year, Red Bull started off very strong and wasn't that strong at the end and still won (the drivers' title). So I think, you know, of course it can change," the German explained while speaking to Reuters.
The German saw many ups and downs at the Austrian team, spending six years of his F1 career there, and he sees the potential for Red Bull to do the same once again.
"It's not that easy to fix, but generally, I think they know what they are doing. It is very likely or very possible that Red Bull can turn it around," Vettel concluded.
