This coming weekend, several teams are set to introduce new updates—among them top contenders like McLaren, Red Bull, and Ferrari. For Red Bull, the focus is firmly on improvement after a disappointing performance last week in Bahrain, where Max Verstappen’s team fell short of expectations.
The updates at McLaren
The current leader in the Constructors’ Championship has brought two key updates to Jeddah. First, the rear diffuser has been modified in an effort to optimise airflow and enhance aerodynamic performance. Additionally, the rear brake duct has been replaced, aiming to improve overall efficiency.
The updates at Ferrari
Ferrari has introduced three updates in Jeddah, all focused on the rear of the car. The rear wing has been redesigned with the goal of reducing drag, which should help increase top speed. Additionally, the beam wing has been modified compared to previous races, further contributing to improved straight-line performance.
The updates at Red Bull
Max Verstappen and Yuki Tsunoda will also be running with two updates to their Red Bull cars in Jeddah. First, the engine cover has been modified with larger air inlets to improve cooling—an important change given the high temperatures expected this weekend. Additionally, the beam wing has been revised, aimed at boosting top speed on the fast Saudi circuit.

Updates at the other teams
The team bringing the most updates this weekend is Kick Sauber, with no fewer than five modifications. Key components like the front wing, floor, and rear wing have all been adjusted—each aimed at boosting top speed and tailored specifically for the demands of the Jeddah circuit. VCARB has also introduced three updates, all focused on reducing drag. Meanwhile, Aston Martin and Haas are bringing one and two updates respectively.
