The provisional calendar for the
Formula 2 and
Formula 3 junior classes has been announced. In
Formula 2, the class before
Formula 1, there are set to be 14 race weekends, all occurring at the exact same tracks as last year. For
Formula 3, there are ten races at the same locations as the 2024 calendar, meaning both junior classes will race around iconic tracks like Silverstone and Spa-Francorchamps.
Full calendar details for the 2025 season
After the news that
Silverstone and F1 came to an agreement to keep the British Grand Prix at the renowned track with a 10-year contract in place, it means that F2 and F3 will also have the opportunity to race their next season, and for many years to come.
While tracks like Zandvoort and the Circuit Of The Americas miss out on the junior class calendar, they will continue to race at Spa and Monza, with F3 having their season finale in Italy while F2 will complete their season in Abu Dhabi.
Both seasons will start in Melbourne at the Albert Park Circuit, with the changes in the calendar mirroring those changes for the 2025
F1 season, meaning they will compete in Bahrain for their second race of the season.
