Romain Grosjean and Haas will find out if their appeal is successful or not on November 1. The French driver was disqualified from the Italian Grand Prix for running an illegal floor. Haas feel the stewards were wrong to exclude their driver.
The appeal will take place with just two races left on the 2018 calendar. This could result in a mini shake-up in the two championships following the Mexican Grand Prix if a change of decision is made.
The FIA inspected the floor of Grosjean's car and it did not have the required 50mm radius edges at the front. While Haas acknowledge this, they claim they didn't have long enough to respond to the technical clarification issued before the summer break.
