Haas F1 will be known as Rich Energy Haas F1 after the American team agreed a deal to form a multi-year agreement with the British energy drink brand.
This will also result in a major livery change for the team, who sit fifth in the Constructors’ Championship with 84 points.
Haas also recently confirmed that they would be sticking with their current driver line-up for the 2019 season, with both Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen being retained.
Rich Energy is available in 30 different countries across the globe and the company is committed to providing a drink with “none of the downsides of the competition”.
Team principal Gunther Steiner was clearly happy with the partnership, and said: “Securing a title partner in Rich Energy is another milestone moment in the development of Haas F1 Team.
“We welcome their commitment to us as an organization, and together we share an ambition to advance further in our respective fields.
“It’s going to be exciting for us as a team to be the focal point of Rich Energy’s marketing endeavors, as we go into both new and existing consumer markets around the world in Formula One."
As we have seen already this season, our own continued push for performance has delivered on-track, and I have no doubt that the platform we provide for Rich Energy will translate into equally favorable dividends.”
The colours of Rich Energy are black and gold, so could we see a livery similar to the Lotus cars of 2011-2015?
