Lewis Hamilton might have won his first win of the year, but the Brit couldn't help but feel bad for his teammate Valtteri Bottas, who hit debris in final moments of the race after being in first up until that point.
The four-time champion was quick to praise his teammate Valtteri Bottas as well as his main rival Sebastian Vettel.
"I couldn't have expected this," Hamilton said.
"It was a very emotional race in which Bottas and Vettel drove amazingly.
"It feels strange for me to be standing here, those guys deserved it too.
"I kept going of course, but I never expected to be here."
A much-needed win for the Brit, who looked to be in a bad spell of form recently. This might be the kick-start Mercedes needed to their season.
