It wasn't an easy weekend for Ferrari again, specifically for Lewis Hamilton who qualified in P7 for the F1 race in Jeddah, for which the Briton takes responsibility for. Throughout the weekend, Ferrari were losing to
McLaren, and Hamilton knows why.
"They've [McLaren] got an upgrade this weekend and they've been massively quick through the first sector all weekend. But I just try not to think too much of it and just try to push," said the Briton to media present at Jeddah.
'My worst laps in F1 qualifying' says Hamilton
However, there was more potential in the SF-25 as
Charles Leclerc proved, edging out the 7-time world champion in qualifying yet again, something Hamilton notes.
"I wasn't able to extract that. Q3 laps aren't very good. Q3 laps are pretty poor, that's like my worst laps at the moment so I need to work on that."As for the Grand Prix itself, Hamilton is uncertain of what his possibilities may be, so he keeps it simple.
"I really don't know. I'm going to just try and race and see if I can go forwards. If I can go forwards that would be great. If not then I'll be hopeful for something to happen to try and capitalise on but just gonna try to extract the most from the car and strategy."
