After another win, championship leader
Lewis Hamilton was quick to acknowledge his team
Mercedes for giving him the tools to have the success that he's had in recent times, as the Brit led his teammate
Valtteri Bottas to another one-two for the German team.
Hamilton led every single of the 54 laps at Paul Ricard, driving away from the pack after a great start.
His fastest lap bonus point did get taken in the final lap by
Sebastian Vettel, but the five-time champion can look back on this race as an absolute masterclass.
"I've been racing a long time but it never gets old," he told Martin Brundle on the grid after his fourth consecutive win.
"I couldn't do what I do without this incredible team. We're making history together. I'm really hyped!"
The 34-year-old has extended his championship lead by nine more points, with Mercedes making it eight straight victories in 2019 and ten straight overall, their longest streak in team history.
