Everyone knows of the bad blood between
Lewis Hamilton and
Nico Rosberg and that fire seems to be burning on with Hamilton posting a rather indirect message on his Instagram.
The pair's feud goes back to when they were teammates at
Mercedes which came to a head during the 2016 season which saw several dramatic incidents throughout the season. It came to a culmination at a dramatic Abu Dhabi Grand Prix which saw Hamilton win the race but Rosberg was crowned World Champion.
The German retired almost immediately after the race but has since become a pundit and makes YouTube videos. Rosberg relit the feud in some of his recent videos, claiming
Max Verstappen was the fastest driver on the grid and suggested that Hamilton is no longer as sharp as he gets older.
Hamilton recently played down Rosberg's claims revealing he had never seen his former teammate's vlogs. In the latest turn in this saga, Hamilton posted a rather indirect message on his Instagram saying: "There will always be people who in order to try and keep their failing careers alive, try to use and tarnish the name of others who are successful.
"Those people are truly sad and lost, you can feel pity for them but don't let it even bother you."
Do you think this is directed at Nico Rosberg? Or is it just some motivation for his fans? Have your say in our poll!
