After their past,
Sebastian Vettel is usually in
Helmut Marko's good books. But the Austrian was angry with Vettel after he crashed into
Red Bull driver
Max Verstappen during the
British Grand Prix at
Silverstone.
After a great battle between the Red Bull and
Ferrari drivers, Vettel drove into the back of Verstappen. Both drivers managed to avoid retirement after trips across the gravel and run-off areas. Marko tried to describe his thoughts to the media after the race.
"It looks like he overestimated himself. Braking too late and thus removing our podium. We were clearly faster than Ferrari in the race. I think Mercedes was too fast, but I never really had a free lap to test that out. Lewis was very fast, but second or third could have been easy," Marko said.
After the crash, Pierre Gasly moved up to P4 and claimed the 12 points. The Frenchman has now recorded two positive results in a row lifting Marko's spirits.
