Pirelli have confirmed that
Formula 1 teams will have the Supersoft, soft and medium compound tyres available to select at the
Italian Grand Prix.
The Monza circuit is known for its low tyre degradation. The straights are long, and the corners come few and far between causing low stress on the tyre.
Even with this tyre selection, it's unlikely that we'll see many pitstops whilst in Italy. Last week,
Lewis Hamilton urged fans to vote for more pitstops in the sports because he believes this will make it more interesting.
Hamilton and Max Verstappen were talking about the soft compound tyre after the Grand Prix in France. They both agreed about how it lasts for ages and that's what helped Vettel climb through the field.
