One more event is left of the Japanese GP's schedule: the most important one, the race on Sunday. Will it rain at the Suzuka Circuit? See the weather report below!

After to dry but windy days on Friday and Saturday, ahead of the weekend, rain was predicted for the Japanese Grand Prix. At one point leading up to the weekend, there was a 70% of that happening.

On Sunday, the FIA's weather report suggests that after some showers over night, there is a moderate chance of that happening after the lights go out, with a mix of clouds and short sunny spells. For the entire session, there is a 40% chance of rain.

At 2pm local time, when the formation lap gets underway, it will be 15 degrees celsius, which will rise by one degree over the 53 laps. The track temperature will be in between 23 and 30 degrees celsius.

The average wind speed will be 5-15 kph throughout the day. The tricky 15-25 kph wind gusts will also continue, similarly to qualifying a day before.

At the Suzuka Circuit, it will be Max Verstappen who lines up on pole position, alongside Lando Norris. The second row of the grid will be completed by Oscar Piastri and Charles Leclerc. The session will begin at 6am GMT.
