Kelly Piquet has reacted to partner Max Verstappen winning his first Grand Prix of 2025 with a fantastic victory at the Japanese Grand Prix.

On Saturday, Verstappen managed to qualify his troublesome RB21 ahead of both McLarens, giving Red Bull their first P1 start of the season.

That flawless performance continued into Sunday, leading the Grand Prix at Suzuka from the front and never relinquishing his lead, giving the Dutchman his first victory of the season.

Verstappen was relieved to win his first Grand Prix of 2025 when the chequered flag fell. However, he emphasised that the issues with the RB21 are not yet resolved and wants more for the rest of the season.

Kelly Piquet, Verstappen's girlfriend, proudly shared various post-race moments on her Instagram. The Brazilian was particularly proud of Verstappen's four consecutive wins in Japan.

Last year, Piquet was at Suzuka with her daughter Penelope, but this year, the heavily pregnant Piquet was not present.
