Robert Kubica has stated his unhappiness with the car that
Williams currently have, as the Pole veteran thinks the FW41 is
"simply not good enough" to compete in any kind of way.
It's been a frustrating season for Williams so far. In pre-season testing in Barcelona, it was already clear that Williams didn't have any sort of competitive package, as they often ended last on testing days. In Australia, Sergey Sirotkin retired from the race and Lance Stroll finished fourteenth out of the fifteen drivers that finished the race.
Bahrain was the first time Stroll started last on the grid in his young career, and Williams looks to be even worse than Sauber this year, as the Swiss outfit managed a points finish in Bahrain with Marcus Ericsson finished ninth.
"Our pace is simply not good enough," Robert Kubica told Austrian tv-station ORF.
"We could already see that we had problems during the Barcelona tests.
"Lance did a good job in Melbourne, but the problems have remained the same.
"Luckily we know what we need to work on."
Many people think that the Polish veteran could be the saviour for Williams and that he should take the seat of either rookie Sergey Sirotkin or Lance Stroll. Whether that would solve anything, we can't say, but things can't get much worse for Williams at this point, that's for sure.
