In both the sprint race and the
Brazilian Grand Prix,
Red Bull Racing scored very good points. For first place in both championships, it no longer matters, but for
Sergio Perez, his result could still make all the difference in the battle for second place with
Lewis Hamilton.

Perez fought a nail-biting battle with
Fernando Alonso, distracting even race winner
Max Verstappen for a moment.
"It was a great race at the front, the battle between Perez and Alonso was fascinating. The tactics for using the battery were also top notch. It is
always easy to talk with hindsight, but Perez's mistake was that he did not come out of turn three in the best possible way," Marko analysed at the German branch of
Sky Sports. Alonso also explained that he took his chance after he had actually already accepted that he would finish fourth.
As for the performance of Perez, who finished third in the sprint race and fourth in the main race, Marko is extremely satisfied. "His pace has been good since Mexico and in Austin there was some bad luck. We have a 30-point lead over Hamilton, which should actually be enough," said the Red Bull adviser.
