Max Verstappen has been voted Driver of the Day in Monaco for his excellent drive, which saw him finish second but classified in fourth, as the Dutchman got a five-second penalty for an unsafe release during his pitstop.
Verstappen started third but after that pitstop, which saw him jump
Valtteri Bottas even though he got penalised for it, he was into second place, right behind
Lewis Hamilton in first.
The 21-year-old put relentless pressure on Hamilton for the rest of the race and made a late lunge for first place, which unfortunately ended in a collision between the two drivers. No damage was done, though, and Verstappen finished second, but with the five seconds added, was classified fourth.
He's your Driver of the Day. Congratulations, Max!
