McLaren starts this weekend the second half of the season with a lot of confidence. With Lando Norris, McLaren is in third place in the world championship, showing that they have made another step forward.
However, the English racing team has the same number of points as Ferrari in the Constructors' Championship, as Daniel Ricciardo has performed a lot less this season. As a result, McLaren must not slacken off in the coming period, as Andreas Seidl also knows.

Battle for third place in World Championship

The McLaren team boss says in a press release prior to the Belgian Grand Prix that he expects a lot from the team. "We’re currently in an intense battle with our closest rivals in the Constructors’ Championship and we know we’ll need to hit the ground running in Spa to keep up the pressure," he says.
McLaren has no time at all in doing so. "The intense schedule is a challenge for the team, but one we’re ready to tackle head-on, both within the trackside team, and the team back at the factory, as well as with our colleagues at Mercedes HPP. As we head into another triple-header, the team are going to be working hard to pick up where we left off at the end of the first half of the season, scoring points at all bar one race."
