With the F1 season continuing in central America this weekend; we give you all the information you need to know about the Mexican Grand Prix!

The Track:

The Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez is 4.304km long with the total distance of the race at 305.354km (71 laps).
The circuit is located in Mexico's capital, Mexico City and has a capacity of 110,000.
It is named after the racing drivers Ricardo an Pedro Rodriguez - with the latter dying in practice for the non-Championship (1962) with Ricardo's brother, Pedro also losing his life behind the wheel nine years later.

2017:

Pole position: Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari) 1:16.488
Race winner: Max Verstappen (Red Bull)
Verstappen is highly-tipped for this weekend, too, after a strong performance in America. The Red Bulls look good for this track; for their sake - let's hope for no more grid penalties.

Fifth world title for Lewis?

Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton can make history and claim his fifth world championship this weekend, with two races to spare! Lewis needs five points; which means a P7 finish or over for Hamilton.
70 points is the difference between Hamilton and Vettel - who needs to win every race between now and the end of the season to have any chance.

Scenarios:

- Hamilton will be crowned champion if he finishes in the top seven - with Vettel's finish irrelevant.
- Hamilton will be champion if Vettel fails to win the race.
- Mercedes can also claim the constructors' championship in Mexico City, needing 20 more points than Ferrari.

Stats:

Hamilton (2016) and Verstappen (2017) are the only active drivers in F1 to have won a grand prix in Mexico.
The race only returned to the F1 calendar in 2015 - with Nico Rosberg of Mercedes at the time winning for the Silver Arrows for the first time since 1992.
The last time Ferrari won in Mexico was back in 1990 through Alain Prost.
Sunday will be the 19th time Mexico has held a 'championship grand prix'.
Mercedes are just one pole position away from their 100th in Formula One.
Valtteri Bottas has a remarkable seven second-place finishes this season, with the Finn still winless.
