Do you have any New Year resolutions yourself? Well, it's likely that the drivers have some and we'll try to predict what they have in mind in order to make 2019 a better year! From us all here at GPBlog, we wish you a Happy New Year!

Valtteri Bottas

His resolution will revolve around performing better in the early part of the season. If the Finn can get a good start to 2019, he'll be in the title fight himself which will mean he won't be forced into the 'wingman' role he was in last season. And then he won't be playing second fiddle, giving up race wins to boost Lewis Hamilton's chances of winning a sixth World Championship.

Sebastian Vettel

To better prepare himself for wet conditions. It wasn't his teams only mistake during the season, but two major talking points occurred in the wet. First, he ran wide whilst leading the German Grand Prix and as a result had to retire. Then, Ferrari made the wrong tyre call in a wet qualifying session later on in the season. Wet weather will be one thing Vettel is hoping to avoid in 2019.

Romain Grosjean

He'll be praying he doesn't crash so often, or make silly errors which force the media to bring him into the headlines. This created a lot of pressure, including from his boss Guenther Steiner. Without these problems, he'd have finished much higher than he did, perhaps even pushing for top 10. Plus, the 32-year-old is approaching the back-end of his career.

Kimi Raikkonen

Well let's be honest, can we really see Raikkonen bothering with New Year resolutions?
