Lando Norris has learned some hard lessons during the
Russian Grand Prix. The same goes for his entire team at
McLaren, where together the decision was made not to bring Norris in.
He was on his way to his first-ever victory, but Sunday in Sochi ended in tears for
Lando Norris. The talented youngster couldn't run on slicks in the rain and had to watch as
Lewis Hamilton ran away with 'his' victory.
Norris learns hard lessons at Russia GP
A hard lesson, both for Norris and
McLaren.
"I've learned a lot of things," he told
Crash.net in the press conference prior to the
Turkish Grand Prix.
"In the end it wasn't just that decision that could have been better, there were a lot of things on my side.""I could have handled the situation I was in better. To lead a race with Lewis Hamilton behind me, that's something I've never experienced before. I also need to be able to deal with that pressure and in the meantime keep communicating with my team. I'm not one to talk a lot while driving, but you have to keep each other informed," concluded the 21-year-old Briton.
