After a year on the sidelines,
Esteban Ocon will be making his
Formula 1 comeback later this year as he signed a two-year deal at
Renault. The young Frenchman completed his first testing laps for Renault in Abu Dhabi last month, but not before getting his seat fitted!
Renault's social media team followed Ocon during his first days at the French works team, following him as he got comfortable in his freshly molded seat. For a tall person like Ocon, seat fittings are all but a formality.
The 23-year-old will share the Renault garage with
Daniel Ricciardo in 2020, with the objective being to lift the team up ahead of the regulation-overhaul in 2021. Ocon has over two seasons of F1 experience but might need some time to get acclimated on the grid again.
