Prost and Hulkenberg impress French fans

Renault duo Alain Prost and Nico Hulkenburg travelled to France to help promote the returning French GP with Renault cars.

Despite the weather being very wet, lots of people lined the streets of Nice to witness Hulkenberg driving the 2012 Renault car.

Alain Prost, four time world champion drove his car from 1983 to impress the French ahead of the French Grand Prix’s arrival on 24th June 2018.

The two cars drove up and down the Promenade des Anglais at a famous french seaside resort.

Hulkenberg said ‘It was a fantastic event here today.

“It’s an amazing thing to be able to drive down Promendade des Anglais with a Formula 1 car. The sound was incredible.

“It’s such a famous place in the South of France and you don’t get to do it every day!

“It was a shame the weather was so bad but I saw a lot of people with smiles on their faces - I think we pout on a good show and hopefully gave people a taste of what’s to come with the French GP.”
