Max Verstappen has revealed that the team have blocked the Dutchman from driving MotoGP bikes, as he tried to make a driving test happen via the energy drink manufacturer as they sponsor Honda and KTM.
"There is not a hint of a chance," Verstappen told De Telegraaf on his chances of ever driving a two-wheeled racing machine.
"They did not allow me, because they consider it too dangerous."
The 21-year-old does have a license to drive motorbikes since early 2018 after completing just two driving lessons in the Netherlands, but still won't be allowed anywhere near a MotoGP bike.
"The two driving lessons were mandatory.
"If it had been up to me, I would have taken the exam directly."
He passed the exam, of course, and went on to buy a Harley-Davidson chopper with his newly-earned license.
