Red Bull treats Jeddah to demo run
Max Verstappen and
Sergio Perez still have a few days off, but former
Formula 1 driver Patrick Friesacher has already taken to the streets of Jeddah on behalf of Red Bull. To do so he took a seat in the RB8, whose howling V8 engine made it audible throughout the city.
Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes may have picked up momentum in the last two races, but it is Verstappen who is on match point for the first time in Saudi Arabia. There's little chance of him converting that into the world title just yet, but nonetheless the Dutchman currently remains 'the man to beat'.
