Daniel Ricciardo was angry with his team and with Max Verstappen originally after qualifying, but the Aussie has now calmed down and acknowledges that his team didn't actually do anything wrong in terms of tactics.
Ricciardo was not happy that he had to come out first in Q3 as he wanted Verstappen to tow him. He thought that Verstappen was put above him by the team, but now that everything has been explained to him, he's admitted he was wrong to be angry.
The Aussie only qualified in seventh, behind his teammate Max Verstappen, as well as behind Haas F1's Romain Grosjean. A very disappointing result for the Aussie, who will need to make up a lot of places during the race on Sunday if he wants to hold on to his third place in the championship. Especially since Valtteri Bottas, who is in fourth place, is on pole position, and will most likely finish first (or second).
