Sebastian Vettel says he won't change his approach in light of his Bahrain spin two weeks ago. The German lost any chance of winning the Bahrain Grand Prix when he spun while fighting
Lewis Hamilton.
With the spin and
Charles Leclerc's power issue added together, Ferrari's almost certain one-two finish vanished within a few moments. Vettel's on-track mistakes were a big factor in his world championship loss last year, but he claims he is learning.
"You always try to learn. I have been to Bahrain many times, so I think I know my way around. I have won many times there as well, so I don’t think there is something fundamental to be learned or understood," Vettel said in an interview on
Crash.
"Nevertheless, every year the challenges are different, and I think we had a little extra time to understand the car a little bit more to work and play with the setup. I think that proved very useful, at least that’s the feeling we have now. So let’s see how it turns out overall."
