Qualifying at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix saw some sublime stuff on track from Max Verstappen as he took pole position. However, for Sky Sports commentator David Croft, his joke did not reach the same heights.
The British commentator made quite a bland joke during the live broadcast of qualifying, the session where Max Verstappen took a stunning pole position around the Jeddah Corniche Circuit.
The 54-year-old's joke came when singer and actor Jennifer Lopez appeared on our TV screens, with the American superstar walking around the paddock this weekend in Jeddah.
Formula 1 is sheer glitter and glamour. It's no wonder that celebrities like to be seen in the paddock. Not because they're big fans of racing, but because it's good for their PR. No doubt, that's why Jennifer Lopez let herself be captured on camera so much this weekend, as she strutted through the paddock in her pink catsuit.

Lopez visits Ferrari

Dressed like a living Barbie, she visited various teams, including Ferrari with Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc. The Italian team posted footage on their Instagram channel, showing Lopez posing with enthusiastic mechanics.
David Croft also noticed that JLo was in Saudi Arabia. When she appeared on the screens, he said live on the broadcast: "I'm surprised she's here now. I thought she was 'Waiting For Tonight'. JLo's fans will understand this."
Croft referred to Jennifer Lopez's 1999 hit 'Waiting for Tonight', with many people commenting on the bad joke. Lopez will likely perform it during her concert in Jeddah, USA.
