The latest season of Drive to Survive is set to premiere on Netlix on 7 March, and now, the official trailer and the titles of the episodes were released as well. Here is what will take place in the the seventh season of 'DTS'.
Next Friday, the seventh season of Drive to Survive is set to premiere on Netlix. Usually, the latest season is released a week before the new season gets underway, recapping the year for
F1 fans.
As always, the season consists of 10 episodes, mostly in chronological order, however, there are occasional jumps in time to tackle each topic to a longer extent.
Here's what to expect from the seventh season of Drive to Survive
Episode 1:
'Business As Usual'. The first episode tackles
Lewis Hamilton's blockbuster transfer to
Ferrari, after spending more than a decade with Mercedes. However, it is nearly overshadowed by the allegations towards
Christian Horner.
Episode 2:
'Frenemies'. Friends off track but rivals on it,
Lando Norris aims to take the title away from defending champion
Max Verstappen. Throughout the year, these two locked horns on multiple occasions on track
Episode 3:
'Looking Out For Number 1'. Mercedes have to fill the void left by Hamilton's transfer. As Mercedes look to find another driver,
George Russell looks to become the number on driver of the team. Is team principal and CEO
Toto Wolff on the same page.
Episode 4: 'Carlos Signs'. As Hamilton is set to join Ferrari, a driver had to leave the Scuderia. Sainz became one of the most in-demand free agents on the market, as two teams aim to sign the driver. The Spaniard also receives a special call from an old friend.
Episode 5: 'Le Curse Of Leclerc'. With all the pressure on his shoulders, Leclerc aims to break his home Grand Prix curse in Monaco.
Episode 6:
'Wheels Of Fortune'. McLaren are aiming to win their first constructors' title since 1998. Both the car and the drivers are performing well, but strategic decisions might hold them back.
Episode 7: 'In The Heat Of The Night'. Five drivers share their behind the scenes experience in the challenging conditions of the Singapore GP.
Episode 8:
'Elbows Out'. After a dominant season in 2023, Red Bull are expected to perform just as well. With
Sergio Perez slowing the team down, many candidates have a battle to become Verstappen's next teammates.
Episode 9:
'Under New Management'. In the battle for P6 in the constructors' standings, Haas and Alpine go toe to toe. Both have new team principals in 2024: Ayao Komatsu replaced fan favourite
Guenther Steiner, while mid-season, Bruno Famin was replaced by Oliver Oakes. Moreover, Flavio Briatore also once again joined the French team.
Episode 10.
'End Game'. The final episode will cover the last Grands Prix and how the battle in the constructors' championship has unfolded, between the underdog McLaren and the powerhouses of Ferrari and defending champions
