Stoffel Vandoorne has stated that he desires a long-term future in Formula E.
The former McLaren driver has said that he is targeting a career with HWA and Mercedes in Formula E.
“I am definitely seeing this as a long-term project and I am very happy to come into this environment with HWA,” Vandoorne told e-racing365.
“I definitely want to be part of that, it is the clear aim.
“But here and now that is one for the future months I think. I know the direction in the future for the team and they have been clear on their aims.”
“I’ve always liked the technical aspects of the car and to be involved in development so it’s an important year for us to gather as much information as possible to build
up for Mercedes to come in next season,” said Vandoorne
Vandoorne will hope that he can cement himself with a long term deal in Formula E.
