The
Formula 1 game F1 22 will be launched on 1 July, but a number of details have already been revealed. After the previously released images and descriptions of game modes, the ratings of the drivers have now been revealed. Some of these are somewhat remarkable.
Verstappen and Hamilton lead F1 22 Driver Ratings
The score includes experience, racecraft, attentiveness and speed. The game may be about the 2022
Formula 1 season, but the drivers' ratings don't quite follow the championship trend yet. For example,
Max Verstappen and
Lewis Hamilton score equally high: with a score of 94 they lead the list. Only after that follows
Charles Leclerc with a score of 92.
Hamilton scores higher than Leclerc and Russell in F1 22
Leclerc is closely followed by
Lando Norris and
George Russell, who also score high with an overall rating of 90. Remarkably, Russell scores lower than Hamilton in racecraft and equally high in speed, despite the fact that Russell is currently ahead of his teammate in the championship. Apart from that Hamilton has the advantage in experience where his score is significantly higher than that of the new generation of drivers around him. The ratings can still change as the season progresses.
To top it all off
Formula1.com made a video in which the drivers have to guess each others ratings. As expected this causes a lot of hilarity amongst the drivers. The full video can be watched
