Max Verstappen will start fourth tomorrow in the French Grand Prix, but the Dutchman has said that his drive on Saturday wasn't good enough for him.
When speaking to Ziggo Sport, Verstappen was not happy at all with him starting behind Sebastian Vettel and both Mercedes cars.
"Difficult circumstances, but it [the car] felt okay," the Dutchman explained.
"I drove with a different setting on the wing than Daniel [Ricciardo], but I think it's clear I made the better decision there.
"Q3 didn't go so well because I had a lot of oversteer.
"Today wasn't a good day as a whole anyway.
Verstappen doesn't think he has another start in him like the one in Canada 2017, when he overtook three cars in the first corner.
"I think Sebastian will have an advantage at the start tomorrow because of his ultrasofts, but the question is how long he can last on those, since we can have longer runs on our supers."
