Red Bull Racing have brought new updates to Portugal and
Max Verstappen is happy with them. However, he is not the favourite, as Mercedes can also perform strongly in
Portimao.
A pole, a second place and a victory.
Max Verstappen has the best start of a season in
Formula 1 and hopes to build on that. In conversation with Ted Kravitz, Verstappen talks to
Sky Sports about the track in Portugal, but also about the new updates.
Verstappen happy with new updates
''You always want to go for pole and victory, but we are very close to Mercedes. I think it will differ per circuit who is leading. Last year Mercedes were very good here, but compared to last year we have made huge steps with the car and the engine'', says the Dutchman.
Red Bull also has updates for the RB16B. It has already become clear from various photos that Red Bull has made adjustments to the floor, the bargeboards and the diffuser. Asked about those updates Verstappen jokes. "The glass of my rearview mirrors has been renewed, so I can see exactly what's happening behind me", concludes Verstappen.
