The season started perfectly for
Ferrari and
Sebastian Vettel, but the German has lost his first place in the title race since last weekend to his rival
Lewis Hamilton. However, Vettel is not worried that it'll stay that way.
Ferrari clearly has the fastest car this year (up until this point, at least), as Vettel has taken three pole positions in a row and won the first two races. A combination of bad luck and bad strategy, however, has made Lewis Hamilton climb back into the lead of the championship race after last weekend when the Brit suddenly won the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. Is Vettel worried?
"The most important part is that we have a fast car," Vettel tells PlanetF1.
"We have a car that does well everywhere - not just in races, but in qualifying too.
"That wasn't the case last year, so we're in better shape now."
Ferrari seems to have the upper hand this year when it comes to pace, but Hamilton has still squeezed past Vettel and into first place in the title race.
"We're fast enough that we can let things happen now," he continued.
"The last few races fell into the hands of our opponents, but that fate will change again soon.
"Races go how they go, but we're in a good position and that's the most important thing."
