VIDEO: Russell gets off to an incredible start in Barcelona

George Russell got off to an incredibly start in Barcelona! The Briton started the race from P4 on the grid, but by the end of the first corner, he was in the lead of the Spanish Grand Prix. Max Verstappen was also able to overtake Lando Norris into Turn 1.

Max Verstappen and Lando Norris battled for the lead at the start of the Spanish Grand Prix, at least it seemed that way. However George Russell, who came around nicely from P4 on the grid, could overtake both drivers into Turn 1. The Mercedes driver therefore took the lead after the first lap at the Circuit de Catalunya, but one lap later he lost the lead to Verstappen.

Lewis Hamilton had a poor start, but by Turn 3, he could also attack Lando Norris. The McLaren driver finally found some momentum and could remain in third place after losing two positions off the line already.
