The Singapore Grand Prix is barely behind us, and the Formula 1 circus has already touched down in Japan. We have seen wet F1 races at the Suzuka circuit in the past, but what does the weather forecast look like for this coming weekend?

Weather forecast Japanese Grand Prix

It is hot in Japan. Race week starts with temperatures of around 30 degrees, and according to Weather.com, it will remain warm in Suzuka until the weekend. Showers do fall during the week, but towards the end of the week, the chance of rain decreases.

On Friday, a temperature of 29 degrees is forecast, and there is a 53% chance of rain. Should rainfall, it may affect F1 teams' race simulations. Saturday and Sunday appear to remain dry, so a wet FP2 would probably be of little value.

Saturday is also forecast to be a warm day with a temperature of 29 degrees. The chance of rain is small at 14%, though it is expected to be mostly cloudy. That forecast extends to Sunday, where temperatures are slightly lower at 27 degrees. The race also looks to be dry for now.
