The rain came down during the first practice session ahead of the
Italian Grand Prix and it is still forecast to fall during Sunday's race. Unlike the German Grand Prix, it's not expected to fall constantly but instead provide tricky dry/wet conditions.
The likes of Ferrari will be hoping for a dry race as their car comfortably works with the track characteristics of Monza. With Charles Leclerc topping both sessions, the Italian team are still favorites to win their home race for the first time since 2010.
The likes of Mercedes and Red Bull will be hoping for rain as this will give them a better chance of catching Leclerc and Sebastian Vettel. Max Verstappen especially will be doing his rain dance because he's forced to start from the back of the grid.
