The Formula 1 teams and drivers won't have to worry about rain during the 2024 United States Grand Prix weekend in Austin, Texas. The forecast suggests drivers will be able to compete in favourable, dry conditions as the season resumes at the Circuit of the Americas.

Formula 1 drivers and teams have enjoyed an off period lasting nearly one month. Some drivers completed some mileage for Pirelli, but most haven't been inside an F1 car for a (relatively) long period. But they should be able to jump back in and enjoy some nice driving conditions for the first event in the triple header.

Verstappen took pole position for the sprint on Friday, beating George Russell by just 12 thousandths of a second. Lando Norris could only manage fourth, whilst Hamilton finished P7 after catching a yellow flag during his lap.

Max Verstappen won an exciting sprint race on Saturday. Carlos Sainz finished in second after overtaking Lando Norris, who wasn't entirely comfortable in his car. In qualifying, however, Norris hit back. He secured his seventh career pole position for Sunday's Grand Prix. Max Verstappen starts behind him in second place.

What is the weather forecast for the United States Grand Prix?

On Friday in Austin, Texas, there was no rain for the F1 drivers to compete with. A dry practice session meant teams could set up their new updates in the way they needed to, something that was crucial with only one practice session on the weekend.

Saturday was another dry day, and there was a 0% chance of rain during both the sprint and qualifying for the Grand Prix. The sun shined fully on the track for both the sprint race and qualifying.

Sunday is forecast to be 30 degrees Celsius, with the chance of rain yet again at 0% for Sunday's Grand Prix. The sun is set to shine on the Circuit of the Americas. This could race the track temperature once again, but conditions will be similar to that of Saturday's. Paddock attendees will want to enjoy these sunny USA conditions because the Las Vegas Grand Prix, at the end of November, is predicted to be much cooler.
