The 2023 Qatar Grand Prix will be the 17th race in the 2023 Formula 1 World Championship. The session times are different from normal because it is a sprint race weekend. This is how you can watch the 2023 Qatar Grand Prix.

Different Formula 1 sessions

The event in Qatar forms one of six sprint race weekends during the 2023 Formula 1 season. In the United Kingdom, Sky Sports will broadcast every single moment of the weekend. This is the only way of watching the Formula 1 weekend in the United Kingdom and a few select countries around the world where they have exclusive rights.

Sky Sports' coverage for Friday's first free practice session starts at 2:00pm [BST]. There is a 30-minute build-up to the green light. After FP1, Sky Sports returns with a build-up to qualifying. The qualifying session starts at 18:00 [BST], but Sky will be broadcasting an hour before to give all the important updates from the paddock.

Sky Sports will go live again on Saturday for the sprint shootout. Sky Sports starts broadcasting at 1:30pm [BST]. The next show will feature the sprint race. Sky Sports returns for this at 17:30 [BST]. The team returns on Sunday for the Qatar Grand Prix. Coverage begins at 16:30 [BST], with lights out at 6pm [BST]. You can find out the full session times here.

Other options elsewhere

In most countries worldwide [not including the United Kingdom], you can follow Formula 1 through the live streaming service F1 TV Pro. They will broadcast all sessions during the Belgian Grand Prix weekend, and you can also choose various commentaries and your favourite driver's cockpit. ViaPlay also broadcasts Formula 1 in a range of different countries.

Every single session during the Qatar Grand Prix will be covered on GPblog with the liveblog. We will also bring you the biggest news stories throughout the weekend.
